March is National Nutrition Month

March is National Nutrition Month. Who knew?? We like every day to be filled with great, healthy nutittion.  At our office, we love being able to inspire, educate, and empower clients on their journey to better health!

This year’s theme, “Food Connects Us”, highlights how nutrition brings people together—whether it’s sharing meals, building healthier habits as a community, or supporting one another on a journey to better health.

Ideal Protein plays a vital role in fostering these connections, helping clients not only lose weight but also embrace a sustainable lifestyle rooted in metabolic health. We also have so many clients that express the value of 1-on-1 coaching on their journey. It’s the place where we can most effectively discuss the nutrition that impacts your life and body.

Take some time to consider each of the following 4 points for your own nutrition and health:

1—Connecting with your food

  • Learn about the ingredients in your food.

  • Incorporate more cooking, food preparation, and meal planning skills.

  • Be inquistive and ask questions about why you choose certain foods.

2—Connecting with a coach

  • They can offer structure—with planning, food prep, and help you know more about your nutrition.

  • Research shows you are 80% more likely to reach goals when you have support...we are here to support you!

  • Receive personalized nutrition information to meet your health goals for the rest of your life.

3—Explore the connection between food and life (habits, stress, culture, etc.)

  • Experiment with recipes using different ingredients or cooking techniques.

  • Include your favorite cultural foods and traditions or try new global flavors.

  • Find a book or class to take about nutrition and brain health.

4—Build the connection in your everyday life

  • Learn how nutrient needs may change with age.

  • Include various colors of fresh food throughout each day.

  • Make sure to enjoy some your meals with family or friends.
